Program Description

Event Details

Join representatives from Sweetbriar Nature Center wildlife rehabilitation facility to learn what steps to take if you find a wild animal in need of assistance, how to help them yourself as well as when to identify when to call in the experts, and what resources are available to these critters.  Participants will get to meet some of Sweetbriar’s resident non-releasable animals (including an owl, opossum, falcon, and more), and find out their stories.  Teens will earn 1 hour of community service credit upon completion of the this program.
