Authors Michelle Young and Elyse Graham will discuss the brilliant but forgotten heroes who used their unique position as academics to sabotage the Nazis, gather critical intelligence, and help turn the tide of World War II. A book signing and Q&A will follow.
Born and raised in Three Village, Michelle Young is an award-winning journalist and professor whose recent book is The Art Spy: The Extraordinary Untold Tale of WWII Resistance Hero Rose Valland. Elyse Graham is a historian and professor at Stony Brook University whose latest work is Book and Dagger: How Scholars and Librarians Became the Unlikely Spies of World War II.
