Event Details

Historic cook Diane Schwindt will explore the history behind April Fool’s Day – with a culinary twist! Be surprised by culinary oddities and gadgets, kitchen must-haves, and those unidentified items in “Granny’s bottom drawer” from the 18th – 20th centuries. Yummy food samples will be served showing how these antique items would have been used. Think you know what that kitchen gadget is for? Don’t be fooled!
