Event Details

Dedicated and artistically inclined Teens and Tweens are needed to create the Library’s Scarecrow for the Stony Brook Village Scarecrow Competition!  Teens will work together to build a literary-themed scarecrow, which will be displayed and voted on at the Stony Brook Village during the month of October.

Deadline to apply is Sept 5th. We will let you know by September 8th, 2025 if you have been chosen to participate in the Scarecrow Build.
