Event Details
The Library needs to revitalize their Life-Size Candy Land Game Pieces! Standing at almost 2 feet tall, these Game Pieces are a highlight of our Life-Size Candy Land event every year. Teens are needed to repaint and decorate the Game Pieces. You may paint and decorate the Game Pieces with any supplies you have at home; the more creative you get, the better! Examples of previous popular Game Piece themes will be provided.
Register to reserve a Take & Make: Life-Size Candy Land Game Piece. Pick up your Game Piece at the Lower Level Service Desk between Monday July 14th and Friday July 18th, any time the library is open. Teens and Tweens are expected to put their very best talents into this revitalization project as the Game Pieces will be used year after year; 10 hours of community service credit will be earned upon return of the completed project. Game Pieces are due back by Sunday August 17th.
