Eating is not as simple as it may seem.  Our brains monitor and communicate with different areas in our body to start or stop eating.  Taste is an important factor that the brain uses to help direct our food choices.   Neuroscience researchers from Stony Brook University Department of Neurobiology and Behavior will discuss how our brains perceive taste and how these brain areas can influence our eating habits.
