Program Description

Event Details

The Teen Department seeks teens who are confident knitters, and want to teach others how to knit, during the Library’s Knit for a Cause programs.  Teen Librarian Emily Ostrander will assess your capabilities, providing some “knitting challenges” to test your skills, and explain your role during a Knit for a Cause program.  Teens who pass the tests will be able to sign up as Teen Knitting Volunteers for future Knit for a Cause programs.  MUST be a confident knitter, and have the Teen Volunteering in the Library and Parent/Guardian Permission forms on file.  Earn 1.5 hours of community service credit for attending this assessment and training.
