Event Details
In this interactive discussion, representatives from the LI LGBT Network will train and empower teens to be upstanders – brave folks who step in when they see bullying. Through role-play and discussions, participants will learn to identify types of bullying and bystander behaviors, as well as effective ways to create a safer school environment by using effective and appropriate responses to bullying. Teens will earn 1 hour of community service credit upon completion of the training.
