On April 8, 2024, Long Islanders will be able to view a partial solar eclipse. Join Prof. Matthew Pappas (Suffolk Community College) for a presentation on why opportunities to experience solar eclipses are so rare and learn tips on how to best view the last eclipse visible in the northeast US for the next 25 years.
All attendees will receive a pair of solar eclipse glasses.
