Event Details
Join Town of Brookhaven Environmental Educator, Nicole Pocchiare and Teen & Tween Services Department Head Librarian Emily Ostrander in cleaning up West Meadow Beach. Teens must have attended the Long Island Sound Conservation Class on July 15th or August 19th to qualify for this beach cleanup (register here for July 15th: https://emmaclark.librarycalendar.com/event/long-island-sound-conservation-class-28498 or here for August 19th: https://emmaclark.librarycalendar.com/event/long-island-sound-conservation-class-28499 ) and have the Library Teen & Tween Volunteering in the Community and Parent/Guardian Permission Form on file. Forms can be found here: https://teen.emmaclark.org/library-volunteering/ Parent/Guardian attendance required. Earn 2 hours of community service credit upon completion of the cleanup.

Offsite Program
This program is taking place offsite, not in the Library. If minors are attending the program, a parent/guardian who is 18 years old or older must stay with the minor at all times. Minors are not allowed to be dropped off at offsite programs without a parent/guardian. Minors may share a parent/guardian. All minors must be supervised by an adult at all times.
