Program Description

Event Details

Grow native plants the easy and affordable way! Join local horticulturalist Kimberly Simmen to discover the magic of winter sowing. This is a simple method for starting seeds outdoors during the winter months. As winter passes, your seeds will rest, sprout, and transform into strong, vibrant plants ready for spring. With just a recycled milk jug, you’ll create your own mini greenhouse and let nature do the work! Please bring a plastic bag that will fit around a gallon jug. All other supplies provided.
