AARP Smart Driver Course
This 6-hour course for those age 50 and up qualifies licensed drivers to receive a reduction of up to four points on their driver’s license or a 10% deduction on collision and liability auto insurance rates for a period of three years. Some insurance companies give both benefits. Certificates of completion will be mailed within a month after completion of the class. A $30 fee ($25 with proof of AARP membership) must be paid by check to the instructor before class. Checks should be made payable to AARP. Attendees should arrive before 9:45 to avoid losing their place. Standbys will be admitted to fill any seats not yet claimed and paid for when the class begins. Latecomers will not be admitted.

Recycle With Us! Do you have old Electronics and Metal cluttering up your house or workspace, collecting dust or taking up space? Are they unwanted or outdated? Arrow Scrap Metal and E-Waste Recycling, a NY State Registered Electronic Waste Recycling Facility, can help. Bring your used computers, cell phones, laptops, servers, wire & cable, scrap metal, circuit boards, batteries, printers, hard drives & storage devices, power tools, small appliances, small electronics, keyboards/mice, stereos, flat screen computer monitors, flat screen TVs, cameras and more! Bring your hard-drives and old cell phones to the event and have them shredded on-site! If possible, please remove the hard drive from your computer before arriving at the event. Not accepted: CRT (Tube) Televisions and CRT (Tube) computer monitors, bulbs, paper, general garbage, liquids, paints, containers containing gases, medical waste, tires, glass or wood. No registration is required.
