Event Details

Join a representative from the Parents for Megan’s Law Crime Victims Center for a workshop, preparing middle schoolers as they age into using social media.  Participants will learn how social media can skew their view of the relationships around them and influence their decision to stay in unhealthy ones. This workshop explores all 10 Signs of an Unhealthy Relationship and is your go-to for educating about digital consent and social media.  Content Warning: Educational Videos will contain actors creating representations of unhealthy and abusive romantic relationships. Viewer discretion is advised. Earn 1 hour of community service credit upon completion of the program. Please attend the session that correlates with your grade.
