Program Description

Event Details

In this 4-session evidence-based workshop representatives from Parents for Megan’s Law Crime Victims Center will educate students to recognize the difference between caring, supportive relationships and controlling, manipulative, abusive relationships. Through group interactions, role plays, and discussions, students learn causes and consequences of dating abuse and skills to develop healthy relationships through effective communication.  Some “homework” may be assigned.  5 Hours of Community Service will be awarded upon the completion of all 4 sessions of the program.  Participants must attend ALL FOUR CLASSES to earn the 5 hours of credit.
