This 6-hour course for those age 50 and up qualifies licensed drivers to receive a reduction of up to four points on their driver’s license or a 10% deduction on collision and liability auto insurance rates for a period of three years.  Some insurance companies give both benefits.  Certificates of completion will be mailed within a month after completion of the class. 

A $30 fee ($25 with proof of AARP membership) must be paid by check to the instructor before class.  Checks should be made payable to AARP.

Attendees should arrive before 9:45 to avoid losing their place. Standbys will be admitted to fill any seats not yet claimed and paid for when the class begins. Latecomers will not be admitted.

Throughout the academic year, the Emma S. These individuals will be on-site to answer questions from our community, help them fill out forms, or provide referrals on topics such as:
