Clark Library is host to one or more Social Work Interns from the Masters of Social Work Program at Stony Brook University who are training to become Licensed Clinical Social Workers. These individuals will be on-site to answer questions from our community, help them fill out forms, or provide referrals on topics such as: Employment/Job Search Housing Applying for benefits LGBTQIA+ topics Medical Assistance Mental Health Issues Substance use Care Coordination Childcare Services To schedule an appointment, click here: https://emmaclark.librarycalendar.com/reserve-room/social-work-intern-appointments To cancel your weekday appointment, email emilya@emmaclark.org. Library Branch: Off Site Age Group: Teen Program Type: Community Service, Garden & Environment Required Event Details: Bethel Hobbs Community Farm is a volunteer-run farm that provides fresh, wholesome produce to those in need, through a network of local food pantries and soup kitchens. Teen Volunteers are needed to help cultivate the produce. Te Disclaimer(s) Offsite Program This program is taking place offsite, not in the Library. If minors are attending the program, a parent/guardian who is 18 years old or older must stay with the minor at all times. Minors are not allowed to be dropped off at offsite programs without a parent/guardian. Minors may share a parent/guardian. All minors must be supervised by an adult at all times.
